  • Calculation of H/S and NIS rates
  • Weekly payroll
  • Monthly payroll
  • Pay slips

3: The PAYE System

  • Introduction to PAYE
  • Calculation of PAYE
  • Completing a payroll with PAYE deductions

4: Completion of Tax Forms

  • Filling out and completing NIB forms (NI 184 & NI 187)
  • Filing out the BIR form - (payment description slip)
  • Completing the TD4 form

5: Value Added Tax (VAT)

  • Introduction to VAT
  • Understanding VAT
  • VAT calculations
  • VAT payable and refundable
  • Completion of the VAT return form

6: Green Fund and Business Levy

  • Introduction to Green Fund and Business Levy

Online Classes

This course will be delivered via live online classes. Students will be provided with a link to join the class as well as other relevant instructions at least one day before the start of each class. These classes are also recorded - therefore students have the option to review the course content as often as they like.

Assessment

Students would be required to complete the following assessment(s) for this course:

  • Final exam

Note: Students would be allowed to do a mock exam. The purpose of the mock exam is to review the topics covered in the course and prepare students for the final exam.

Certification

In order to receive the CTS College certificate of completion or participation for this course, students must attend a minimum of 75% of classes and pay any outstanding fees. Where applicable, students who do not meet the necessary assessment requirements, but attended the required amount of classes would receive a CTS College certificate of participation.

Mrs. Gunness is passionate about teaching, believing her true purpose is to educate and uplift others; praised for patience and excellent course delivery, she also motivates students to excel, making imparting skills and knowledge her main objective.
